Born in 1977 in Hokkaido, Japan. Lives and works in Aragón, Spain. He has been creating installation works since 2002. In 2025, he founded the Museum of Spatial Art LLC (MoSA), which will build a museum focused on spatial art.
Guided by the concept of “manifestation of space”, his spatial works emerge through an enormous amount of manual craftsmanship.
He has taken part in numerous major exhibitions and art festivals worldwide. Extensive retrospectives of his work have been shown in various countries. He is regarded as one of the defining artists of international light art.
