TICKETS

I couldn't get a ticket slot for my preferred date. How can I still get a ticket?
We are looking for volunteers to donate four hours of their time. Join our team and receive a free ticket for an evening of your choice afterward.
If you would like to support us, please send an email to helfer@wirimraum.de with the subject line "I want to help."
Do I need an Underground Card for "Himmel Unter Berlin Vol. 3"?
No. For "Himmel Unter Berlin Vol. 3," we are opening access to everyone for the first time.
Three years have passed since the last edition, and Berlin has changed significantly in that time. Many of our previous ticket buyers and Underground Card holders no longer live in the city. At the same time, with Vol. 3, we want to give a new, young generation the opportunity to discover "Himmel Unter Berlin."
Our Underground Card remains something special: all cardholders will continue to receive exclusive priority access, giving them the chance to secure the best slots before the regular ticket sale begins.

New for Vol. 3: Only Underground Card holders will also receive access to tickets for the Private Opening and Closing – including the special atmosphere and the opportunity to meet the artists on-site. This way, we keep our promise to the Underground Card community while simultaneously opening "Himmel Unter Berlin" to a new generation.
I lost my Underground Card. What can I do?
Don't worry – your eligibility for an Underground Card is already on file with us.
We have your details in our system, and you can simply pick up a new Underground Card on-site when you arrive.
How long is my ticket valid?
Your ticket is valid for the date indicated on your booked ticket. Please also note the entry time for your booked slot.
Can I cancel my ticket?
For organizational reasons, we are unfortunately unable to process cancellations or rebookings. We appreciate your understanding.
If you have any questions regarding your ticket, please contact service@loveyourartist.de.
Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
Unfortunately, we cannot transfer tickets for organizational reasons. Your ticket is personalized and valid exclusively for you.
We appreciate your understanding.
Can I change my ticket to a different day?
Since tickets are issued via an automated system, we are unfortunately unable to exchange or cancel them for technical reasons.
We appreciate your understanding.
How much does a ticket cost?
A ticket costs 32 euros plus booking fees and includes admission to the exhibition as well as a welcome drink.
Do I need to print my ticket, or is a digital version sufficient?
A digital version of your ticket on your smartphone is perfectly fine. We ask that you refrain from printing it out to help us conserve resources.
All tickets for an evening are sold out. How can I still get a ticket?
If an evening is no longer available in the ticket system, we have reached maximum capacity for that day. However, our media partners regularly raffle off tickets, so it is worth keeping an eye out. Another option: we are looking for volunteers to help manage the exhibition on-site. Anyone who supports us for four hours will receive a free ticket for a day of their choice afterward. You can find more information under the menu item “Become a Volunteer”.

VISIT

Do I need to arrive on time?
We ask that you arrive about 10 minutes before the start time indicated on your ticket. This helps us avoid queues and ensures a smooth, punctual entry for all visitors.
How long does the exhibition tour take?
You should plan for about 90 minutes to visit the exhibition.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. We ask all visitors to wear black clothing. This helps us avoid unnecessary distractions and gives the artwork the space it deserves.
You will become virtually invisible in black clothing.
Can I bring my children?
No. “Himmel Unter Berlin” is aimed at adults and is an 18+ event with a bar.
Therefore, it is unfortunately not permitted to bring babies, children, or teenagers.
Can I bring pets?
Please leave your dogs, cats, guinea pigs, goldfish, and all other pets at home.
Due to official regulations, animals are not permitted on the event premises or in the catering areas.
Is there a cloakroom on-site?
No, unfortunately, we cannot offer a cloakroom on-site. Since “Himmel Unter Berlin” takes place in an abandoned building with very limited infrastructure, there is no way to safely store jackets, bags, or other personal items.
Please bring only the essentials and plan accordingly.
Am I allowed to take photos in the exhibition?
Yes, photography inside the exhibition is explicitly encouraged—but please turn off your flash.
If you mention and tag the artists in your posts, they would be very happy.
Photography from the outside or in the bar area is not permitted. We reserve the right to remove visitors from the venue if this rule is not followed.

Getting Here

Where can I find the address?
The location remains a secret until shortly before your visit.
All ticket holders will receive the exact address via email 48 hours before their booked time slot.
For your planning: The location is in the northwest of Berlin and is easily accessible by public transport.
Is there parking available?
Parking in the surrounding streets is very limited. Due to excellent public transport connections, we kindly ask you to avoid traveling by car if possible—for the sake of the environment as well.
If you do arrive by car, please allow enough time to find a parking space so that you can arrive at the entrance on time.

ACCESSIBILITY

Is “Himmel Unter Berlin Vol. 3” wheelchair accessible?
The building spans two floors and, unfortunately, does not have a working elevator to the catacombs.
Please be sure to contact us at contact@thedarkrooms.de before your visit.
We would be happy to provide you with individual information regarding which areas are accessible and what options are available for your visit.

PRESS

Are there press tickets available?
