Santissimi is an Italian artist duo from Sardinia, consisting of Sara Renzetti (b. 1978) and Antonello Serra (b. 1977), both born in Cagliari and now living and working in Barumini.
Both studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence — Sara Renzetti in fine art and Antonello Serra in architecture — and have worked together since 2009.
They taught themselves to work with silicone as a sculptural material. They are considered one of the most interesting voices of the younger Sardinian and Italian art scene, particularly for their engagement with the depiction of the human figure.
Their works have been featured in, among others, the magazines Juxtapoz and Hi-Fructose, two renowned publications focused on contemporary and hyperrealist art.
