Guillaume Marmin is a French visual artist. He studied at the University of Lyon II and at ARFIS.
From the very beginning, his work has been closely tied to the music and performance scene. In it, he develops visual forms beyond traditional narrative modes and media. Inspired by experimental filmmakers such as Len Lye and Stan Brakhage, Marmin explores a new synaesthetic language in which images and sounds, rhythms, contrasts, and moving forms merge together.
