Marco Barotti intervenes, through multimedia means, in urban and natural sound sources. His works engage with the transformation of these acoustic elements and their environment, translating them into sculptural forms that, in turn, become “alive” through the sound transformation. Through these interventions, Barotti aims to influence and question people's perception of their daily routines.
His works have been exhibited internationally, including at Ars Electronica (Linz), the Saatchi Gallery (London), the Futurium (Berlin), Platoon (Mexico City), and many more.
