Soler-Arpa is an international advocate for environmental art — a vision of how consumption and design destroy nature and the soul. In a world where the climate crisis is omnipresent, his work gains in power. In 2021, he was selected by Göteborgs Konsthall (Gothenburg Art Museum, Sweden) as a global reference in the field of contemporary environmental art, as part of their youth education project Snacka om Konst (“Let's Talk About Art”). He has also contributed to editorial publications such as “Plastic Ocean, Art and Science Responses” by Ingeborg Reichle, GRANTA in Spanish, and “AGUA” by Galaxia Gutenberg.
In 2014, Soler-Arpa was invited to become an artistic ambassador for the Plastic Pollution Coalition (PPC), a global non-profit organisation based in Berkeley, USA, whose goal is to end the world's dependency on single-use plastic.
